Quality Materials for Safe and Durable Sponge HPU MBBR Media
1. Large Specific Surface Area
• Specific surface area up to 6000m2/m3 or more, which is several times that of HDPE filler.
• The huge specific surface area can provide enough space for microorganisms to attach, thereby enriching more bacteria.
2. Fast Bio Film Hanging Speed
• After the filler enters the water, the gel swells by absorbing water, and it only takes 3-7 days for the bacteria to be on the filler table biofilm grows on the surface, which greatly shortens the debugging cycle of the circulating aquaculture system, and the water quality is stable and reliable.
3. Low Investment Cost
• Huge specific surface area, cast in the RAS system.
• The increase rate is less than 20% of the capacity of the biological filter, which is much lower than the HDPE packing, and the investment cost can be save more than 40%.
When used in aerobic tank ,we can use HPU MBBR media without Bio ball, it is good at Flu fluidi ,And because it is very light MBBR, it is less power than other Media
When used in Anaerobic tank, there is no gas in the tank, then the HPU media will easy floating on the surface of the tank, it is better to use it with bio ball. And then we can put one piece of vesuvianite together 3 to 6 pcs of HPU MBBR in the bio ball, then make use the ball in the middle of the water, not floating on the surface of the water
